Vertigo is a kind of dynamic or positional illusion caused by the body’s disorientation of space.TCM has summarized its pathogenic factors as"wind,fire,phlegm,stasis,weakness".There are five types:"hyperaction of liver Yang,retention of phlegmatic dampness,internal accumulation of sludged blood,deficiency of kidney-essence,and deficiency of Qi and blood".In the long-term clinical treatment,Professor LIU has found that patients who has suffered from vertigo for a long time tend to develop a cold-heat mixed performance.The characteristic of Professor LIU’s treatment lies in the accurate analysis of each disease evolution process,focusing on eradication,flexible treatment,the combination of classic prescription and current prescription,the concept of"invigorating spleen and warming Yang"through all the time.
