In the 40 years of reform and opening-up, the Communist Party of China has uphold the ideological line of seeking truth from facts, strengthened ideological building, constructed the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, continuously carried out thematic activities of advice and practice, formed the mental character of reform and innovation;established the correct political line, strengthened political building, kept unswerving political stance, improved intraparty political life, and enhanced the Party’s political building as the overarching principle. With a focus to accomplish the overarching task, the Party strengthened organization building, cadre echelon building, primary-level Party building, and established the organizational line for the new era. The Party maintained close bond with the people, improved Party conduct with solving prominent problems as the sally port, insisted leading by example, and made satisfying people’s needs as the criterion. The Party insisted strict governance over the Party, strengthened discipline building, put disciplinary inspection in an important position, and paid great attention to the actual implementation of disciplines. The Party attached great importance to the scientification and standardization of Party building, strengthened institution building, and continuously improved the system of institutions.
