《夜郎素女》和《城门》具有较强的女性意识,主要体现在女性角色较多;调适宏大主题,糅合女性婚恋、日常生活等,展示女性意识;具有浓郁的地域特色,并巧妙运用女性化语言和表达形式展示主题;建构了女性化的花儿意象等。二者的女性意识表现也有不同之处,如小说的结局、人物刻画的侧重点和语言风格。虽因种种缘故导致文本尚有缺陷和不足,但总体来说瑕不掩瑜,具有较高的艺术水准。
