Changing Stereotypes and Establishing A New Culture and Appearance

由于历史、宗教、社会和自然等因素,以及民俗在社会发展中的相对滞后性,西藏民俗中许多陈规陋习依然延存,主要表现在:"打狗"陋俗异化泛滥;兄弟共妻或姊妹共夫仍屡见不鲜;包办婚姻和交换婚现象依然存在;婚聘浮夸、婚庆浪费现象开始凸显;职业歧视依然根深蒂固;迷信心理依然浓厚;赌博之风仍有市场。基于此,一是高度重视、积极作为;二是有所侧重、因情施策;三是注重载体、形成格局;四是依法治理、规范约束;五是党员带头、引领风尚;六是从青年抓起、阻断代际传递。

Due to the historical,religious,social,natural and relatively lag of social development factors,some stereotypes remain in Tibetan culture.Outdated customs and bad habits are reflected in the following traditions.Firstly,"hit the dog"(going out at night to womanize) is still practices widely in the remote regions.Secondly,fraternal polyandry and sisters sharing a husband are also common.Thirdly,arranged marriage and exchange of marriage are widely practiced.Fourthly,there is a trend of developing excessive bride price and wedding waste.Fifthly,traditional concept of occupational discrimination is still deeply rooted in Tibetan culture.Sixthly,there is a great impact of superstitious psychology.Seventhly,gambling has its market due to habits of the public.In order to change and modify the mentioned vices,the following measures are essential.1)Attach great importance to and take effective actions;2)identify clear focus and implement strategy based on particular issues;3)attach importance to carrier and develop formation pattern;4)governance by law and normalize behavior;5)party members shall take the lead of developing a new culture and appearance;6)focus on youth and interrupt intergenerational transmission.
