Achievements and Experiences of Religious Work in Tibet since the Democratic Reform

1959年西藏实行民主改革,彻底废除政教合一的封建农奴制度,西藏开始了新的发展篇章。60年来西藏宗教工作取得的显著成就,为今后西藏宗教工作的顺利开展及引导藏传佛教与社会主义社会相适应提供了具体指导。

In 1959,the implemention of democratic reforms completely abolished the feudal serf system of the unity of politics and religion,a new chapter of development began in Tibet.Looking back on the history of religious work in Tibet in the past 60 years and the remarkable achievements have been made,which provides concrete reference for the smooth development of Tibetan religious work in the future and the active guidance of Tibetan Buddhism to adapt to socialist society.
