侨汇物资供应政策是新中国在特定历史时期为了争取侨汇以支援国家经济建设和照顾侨眷、归侨生活而实施的一项举措,是新中国侨务政策的重要组成部分。1956～1966年是侨汇物资供应政策发展成型的主要阶段。随着侨汇物资供应数量、标准、种类等的日臻完善,侨汇物资供应政策逐渐成为新中国争取侨汇收入的重要驱动力,在团结海外华人华侨和港澳同胞参与社会主义建设等方面发挥了重要作用。

The overseas remittance and material supply policy was a policy implemented by New China in a specific historical period in order to strive for overseas remittances to support national economic construction and take care of the families and their lives of returned overseas Chinese and an important part of the policy of overseas Chinese in New China.The year from 1956 to 1966 was the main development stage of the overseas remittance and material supply policy.With the improvement of the quantity,standard and type of overseas remittance and material supply,the policy of overseas remittance and materials supply had gradually become an important driving force for New China to strive for overseas remittance income.In short,the overseas remittance and material supply policy had played an important role in uniting overseas Chinese and compatriots of Hong Kong and Macao to participate in socialist construction.
