Issues and Boundaries of Contemporary Chinese Social History Research

当代中国社会史研究成果日益丰富,已成为当代中国史学界内外所关注的新兴增长点。然而,由于相关的史学理论研究尚未健全,在跨学科研究已逐渐成为一种学术风尚的情况下,学科边界问题并未得到当代社会史学界的足够重视。同样是研究当代中国,相比于社会学等学科,学界有必要坚持其史学本位。在跨越边界去借鉴各学科的理论和方法之外,更有必要充分认识到本学科的独特价值。通过对《当代中国史研究》所刊载的相关论文的研究,梳理和总结当代中国社会史研究的现有议题与边界,并与社会学等学科作方法论层面上的比较,可以更深入地探讨、认知当前当代社会史研究的优势与不足。

The research achievements of contemporary Chinese social history are becoming more and more abundant and has become a new growth point concerned by contemporary Chinese history circles.However,due to the imperfect theoretical research on history,the issue of disciplinary boundaries has not been paid enough attention by the contemporary social history circles under the circumstance that interdisciplinary research has gradually become an academic fashion.Similar to the study of contemporary China,it is necessary for academia to adhere to its historiography standard compared with other disciplines such as sociology.It is more necessary to fully recognize the unique value of this discipline besides learning from the theories and methods of various disciplines across the border.This paper takes the relevant papers published in Contemporary China History Studies as samples,tries to sort out and summarize the existing issues and explores the advantages and disadvantages of contemporary social history research through the comparison between sociology and other disciplines at the methodological level.
