"Factual World"——On the possibility of dialogue between phenomenology and analytical philosophy

一种常见的观点认为,现象学和分析哲学因研究论题的不同而没有对话的可能。然而,通过深入的考察,发现它们是有共性的,即都涉及对"事实世界"的探讨。具体来讲,分析哲学着眼于获得对"事实世界"加以有意义描述的话语;现象学力图探讨给予"事实世界"以合理的"本质直观"和理解。通过比较这两种哲学在"事实世界"上的看法,可以促进它们间的可能对话。

A common view holds that phenomenology and analytic philosophy have no possibility of dialogue due to their different research topics. However, upon further examination, it will be found that they share common features, that is, they all involve the discussion of the "factual world". To be specific, analytic philosophy focuses on obtaining meaningful descriptions of the "factual world factual world", while phenomenology tries to give a reasonable "essential intuition" and understanding to the "factual world". Through the comparison of the views of these two philosophies on the "factual world",the possible dialogue between them can be promoted.
