农村空巢老人的社会支持困境与出路——基于山西省G村的研究

Plight in the Social Support for Rural Empty Nesters and the Wayout——A study based on G village in Shanxi province

近年来,我国逐步迈入老龄化社会,空巢老人问题成为不可回避的重要社会问题之一。由于城乡二元结构的巨大差异,农村空巢老人在养老社会支持方面面临更严峻的问题。文章以山西省G村为例进行实地调查发现,农村空巢老人在社会支持方面存在经济支持脆弱、生活照料不足、精神慰藉缺位、医疗救助有限等问题。只有从正式社会支持与非正式社会支持两个方面同时发力,才能完善农村空巢老人养老的社会支持体系。

In recent years, China has gradually entered the aging society, and the problem of empty nesters has become one of the important social issues that cannot be avoided. Because of the huge difference between urban and rural dualistic structure, rural empty nesters face more serious problems in social support for the aged. This paper, by taking G village of Shanxi province as an example for field investigation, found that in terms of social support, rural empty-nesters are faced with such problems as weak economic support, insufficient living care, lack of spiritual consolation and limited medical assistance. Only by paying attention to both formal and informal social support can the social support system for the elderly in the rural areas be improved.
