The Biography of Women Doctors· Ming Fei describes TAN Yunxian′s emotional entanglements with brothers, the Emperors Ying and Dai in Ming Dynasty. With her obsession and love for medicine, TAN eventually became a famous doctor in her time. In order to make the image of this character fuller, the TV series make some artistic creation in demonstrating her way to learn medicine which almost covers all the ways of the medical education for ancient female doctors. Although it has a dramatic component, we can still roughly see the growth of ancient female doctors.
