诚信是规范人与人、人与社会之间相互关系的道德品质和行为准则。就个人而言,诚信是高尚的人格力量;就单位而言,诚信是宝贵的无形资产;就社会而言,诚信是正常秩序的运行基础;就国家而言,诚信是良好的国际形象。随着改革开放进程的不断纵深发展和经济全球化的深入发展以及社会主义市场经济体制的建立,我们党提出了依法治国和以德治国的方略,将诚实守信放在了全社会重要的地位。但是,因为青少年处在成长期,其世界观、人生观、价值观尚未完全形成,思想政治教育在这个环节起到了重要作用。因此在这个阶段,社会各界要通过"动之以情、晓之以理"的方式,在青少年学习的过程中培育诚实守信的习惯,对于他们成人之后的为人处世、成家立业、服务社会有着至关重要的作用。因此对青少年学生进行思想政治教育以及诚信教育,对于社会的诚信度的提升,风清气正社会风气的形成将起到不可估量的积极作用。
