A Cultural Approach to the Teaching of French as a Second Language and the Application of Multimedia Technology

关于文化的探讨一直是语言教学中的热点问题。文化可为具体的语言行为提供背景,脱离了文化背景的语言便失去了其意义。在法语学习中,学生需要借助特定文化背景来了解词汇的具体含义。因此,文化教学在对外法语教学中有着不可替代的作用。在本文中,我们将论证文化教学在对外法语教学中的必要性,并对文化教学中应该关注的内容加以解释;同时,我们将讨论多媒体及网络等新技术在文化教学中的应用。

The teaching of culture remains a major challenge for the learning of foreign languages. The culture can build a field of reference, without which the language production will lose its significance. In the learning of French as a foreign language, learners should understand the meanings of the words in French within a given culture. Thus we can say that the teaching of culture plays an important role in the teaching of French as a foreign language. In this paper, first of all, we are going to explain the indispensability of introduction of the cultural dimension in the teaching of foreign languages. Secondly, we'll introduce the key cultural elements. Finally, we are going to launch a discussion on how to teach culture, especially with the help of the use of new technologies (multimedia and the Internet).
