摘要
《奥兰多》是现代主义作家弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫的一部传记小说,其主人公奥兰多是一名诗人,被作者安置在各个时代的文学市场之中,与当时的经济体制产生着复杂的关系。可以说,《奥兰多》体现了伍尔夫对当时文学市场的思考。文章在考察了英国文学市场化的历史语境之后,主要从私人领域与公共领域、文学性与商业性、评论专家与普通读者这三个方面分析伍尔夫是如何处理现代主义文学与消费市场之间的关系。
Orlando is an biographical novel written by the modernist,Virginia Woolf.As a poet,the protagonist Orland lives through different literary markets and is closely related to the network of modern economic institution.This novel shows Woolf s concern about the modern literary market.In the historical context of the marketization of English Literature,this paper tries to analyze Woolf's strategy for dealing with the relationship between the modern literature and the consumer market from three perspectives:private vs.public sphere;art vs.commerce;critic vs.common reader.
