中外学术论文摘要的语类结构及功能变体对比研究

A Comparative Study on the Generic Structure and Functional Variation of Chinese and English Academic Abstract

以从SSCI和CSSCI期刊中的语言学领域随机抽取的30篇中外学术论文为语料,在系统功能语言学语类理论的框架下对其摘要的语类结构及功能变体进行对比研究。结果表明,国际学术期刊论文摘要的语步结构较为完整,作者立场表达明确,而国内学术期刊论文的中英文摘要语步分布不均,意义表达较为简明、客观。

Based on the collection of a total of 30 Chinese & English academic abstracts from core journals in linguistics, the author makes a comparative analysis on their generic structure and functional variation within an SFL framework. The research finds out that the move structure of English academic abstracts are usually more complete and express the author’ s viewpoints more clearly, while the Chinese abstracts have a more random move distribution and are more simplified. To some extent, this comparative study is helpful in finding out the differences between Chinese & English academic abstract, thus it may shed some light on the study and writing of academic discourse.
