路德玫瑰:符号学视角下的“因信称义”

Luther Rose:“Sola Fide” From the Perspective of Semiotics

16世纪初,马丁·路德在阅读《圣经》的过程中重新发现"因信称义"的教义,引发了宗教改革。路德将"因信称义"的神学思想设计进了他的玫瑰纹章中。玫瑰在中世纪以来就具有神圣的含义,在天主教中象征圣洁和圣母玛利亚。从符号学的角度来看,路德玫瑰纹章作为一种神学符号,象征了路德的"因信称义"神学观念和十字架神学。路德玫瑰既象征了路德在神学上的新思想,又暗含了对传统教义的继承,同时体现了新教的视觉文化特征。

At the beginning of 16 th century,Martin Luther rediscovered the doctrine of“sola fide”in the process of reading The Bible,which triggered the Protestant Reformation.Luther designed his theological thought of“sola fide”into his coat of arms of rose.The rose has had a divine meaning since the Middle Ages.It emblems holiness and St.Maria in Catholic tradition.From the perspective of semiotics,Luther Rose,as a theological emblem,symbolizes Luther’s theological thought of“sola fide”and the theology of the Cross.Luther Rose symbolizes Luther’s new theological thoughts,implies the inheritance of traditional doctrines and represents the visual cultural characteristics of Protestantism.
