以158K苏伊士型油船上层建筑应用为例,比较PPR管与船舶常用的塑料管材的性能,实船应用证明PPR管的性能优于此前船舶上建使用的其他塑料管材,PPR管不仅适用于冷水管道,也适用于热水管道,甚至纯净饮用水管道,认为可取代PE-RT管和金属管材作为船上层建筑供水的主材。

Taking the superstructure of 158 K Suez tanker as an example,the performance of the PPR pipe and the ordinary marine plastic pipe of the ship wascompared. The real ship application proved that the performance of the PPR pipe is superior to the other plastic pipes used on board before. The PPR pipe is not only suitable for cold water pipelines,but also for hot water pipelines and even pure drinking water pipelines. Itis expected to replace the PE-RT pipe and the metal pipe as the main material for the water supply in superstructure on board.
