汤因比历史哲学对于文明有两个重要的判断:所有文明都是同时代的,所有文明都是可以比较的。作者从这两个论断出发,探讨了文明"同时代性"与"可比较性"的对话主义内涵,并且借用阿多诺"星丛"概念彰显了汤因比文明对话的状态或归宿。

Toynbee has two significant arguments about civilizations in his historical philosophy:all civilizations are contemporaneous and all civilizations are competitive.Based on these two arguments,this article explores the dialogism connotation of civilizational contemporaneousness and competitiveness;and then manifests the existence of dialogues among civilizations by borrowing the concept of "constellation" from Theodor Ardono.
