新材料产业作为战略性新兴产业的重要组成部分,是国民经济先导产业和高端制造及国防工业的重要保障,其发展关系到国民经济、社会发展和国家安全。文章简要论述了新材料产业发展的现状和趋势,重点阐述了太仓市新材料产业发展现状,围绕太仓市新材料产业发展的不足,提出了对策与建议。

As an important part of the strategic emerging industries,the new materials industry is an important guarantee for the national economy’s leading industry and high-end manufacturing and defense industry.Its development is related to national economy,social development and national security.This paper briefly discusses the status quo and trend of the development of new materials industry,highlights the development status of new materials industry in Taicang city,and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions around the development of new materials industry in Taicang city.
