网络环境下大学生英语爱好者信息查寻行为研究

Research on information seeking behavior of English hobbyists of university students based on Internet environment

目的/意义:旨在了解大学生英语爱好者的信息查寻行为特征,对深度休闲的信息行为研究视角进行补充。方法/过程:使用半结构化访谈法,围绕大学生英语爱好者的信息查寻行为进行质性分析,包括大学生英语爱好者的信息需求特征与信息查寻渠道。结果/结论:通过对访谈数据的分析显示,大学生英语爱好者往往也是其他领域的业余爱好者,在进行信息查寻的过程中,英语在大学生的这些业余爱好者身份之间起着桥梁和助力的作用。

[Purpose/Significance]The purpose of this paper is to understand the information behavior characteristics of English hobbyists of university students,and to supplement the information behavior research perspective of serious leisure.[Method/Process]This paper uses the method of semi-structured interview to analyse on information seeking behavior of English hobbyists of university students,including the characteristics of information needs and information seeking channels.[Result/Conclusion]Through the analysis of the interview data,it is shown that English hobbyists of university students are also amateurs hobbyists in other fields,and in the process of information seeking,English plays a bridge and a helping role in the identities of these amateur hobbyists of university students.
