The paper summarized the efficients of CODCr removal of biochemical system when the salinity of dye and pigment wastewater changed. Based on the data analysis, when the salinity of wastewater is less than 1%, the biochemical system operates stably, and activated sludge is highly efficient. When the salinity of wastewater is more than 1%, sludge disaggregation appeared in large amount,the removal amount of CODCr in the biochemical system was reduced to 39% of the normal removal amount.
