一种多模式高瞬态响应无片外电容LDO的设计 被引量:2

摘要 对于便携式电子产品而言,LDO的封装尺寸小,体积和成本小,并且LDO线性稳压器具有提供多样化输出电压的功能,使相互间无干扰等优点。在市场竞争日趋激烈和产品更新换代快的前提,使得短的设计周期的产品变得很重要,LDO正好具有设计周期短的特点。由于SOC集成电路芯片对面积和成本要求,所以无片外电容的LDO成为发展的趋势,负载电容集成在芯片内部,会比有片外电容的LDO少封装pin角,不需要电容的分立器件,但是没有负载电容这种储能器件,瞬态响应成为设计的难点,所以高瞬态响应的LDO是一种研究的方向,本文提出了一种高瞬态响应的LDO,并同时能分模式工作来降低LDO的自身功耗。 For portable electronic products,LDO(Low dropout voltage regulator)has the advantages of small package size,small volume and small cost.Besides,LDO linear voltage stabilizer has the function of providing diverse output voltage,so that there is no interference between each other and other advantages.In the increasingly fierce market competition and rapid product upgrading,products with short design cycle become very important.LDO also has the characteristics of short design cycle.As the SOC chip area and cost requirements,so capacitor-less LDO become the trend of development,the load capacitance integrated inside the chip,would be much less than they have off chip capacitor encapsulation pin Angle,don't need capacitance discrete device,but no load capacitance the energy storage device,transient response become the difficulty of design,so high transient response is a kind of research direction,this paper proposes a high transient response of LDO,and at the same time can work two mode to reduce the power consumption of LDO.
