作为立足于乡土的作家,山西大同的曹乃谦执着地书写了20世纪70年代"文革"时期雁北农民的生存境况以及他们在这片土地上的"生"与"死"。《到黑夜想你没办法》正是记录这些情形的一部"人史"。其结构看似松散,主题则一以贯通,表现出新颖而独特的叙事艺术。它来用原汁原味的语言揭示出底层生活真实的原生态,进而叩开那个年代尘封的历史,带领读者去感受苍凉苦涩的雁北大地。

As a native writer,Cao Naiqian has paid most of his attention to peasants’living conditions in the Yanbei region during the Cultural Revolution.There’s Nothing I Can Do When I Think of You Late at Night records the history of life and death of peasants in the Yanbei region.It reveals the original ecology of peasants’life through his unique narratives and native languages,and describes the miserable history in the Yanbei region during that period of time.
