The Theoretical Logic of "Four Consciousnesses"

为什么在中国特色社会主义进入新时代条件下,党的政治建设集中强调"四个意识"?这是因为:在内涵上,"四个意识"蕴含党的执政伦理与组织伦理的有机统一,由此建构起党员的价值取向与行为规则的内在统一;在现实问题的针对性上,"四个意识"构成维护党中央权威和集中统一领导的主观条件和基本要求,是适应新时代强国目标的必然逻辑;在实践上,"四个意识"的目标是通过夯实"四个服从"关系进而打造与时俱进、强而有力的党的组织文化。

Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered into a new era and the party strictly emphasizes the "four consciousnesses." Why? First, in terms of connotation,"four consciousnesses" contain the internal unity of the party’s ruling ethics and organizational ethics and that of the value orientation of party members and the rules of conduct. Second, in the pertinence of real problems,"four consciousnesses" constitute the subjective conditions and basic requirements for safeguarding the party’s central authority and centralizing and unifying leadership, adapting to strengthen the country in the new era. Last, in practice, the goal of the "four consciousnesses" is to build a strong party organization culture by consolidating the "four obedience."
