Thoughts on the Limping of Global Governance:Dilemmas and Strategies

全球治理作为与全球化相伴而行的事物,在取得成就的同时也存在很多问题。近年来,全球治理在危机中跛足缓行,有必要对其进行再反思。理论上看,全球治理受制于五大困境,即全球治理目标层级冲突、治理主体合作困境、全球问题复杂性与频发性交织、治理机制合法性与代表性不足以及全面系统的全球治理评估体系的缺失。只有破除这些困境,才能使全球治理健行致远。

Global governance going with globalization makes some achievements accompanied by bringing some problems. Global governance has limped along in crisis in recent years. Therefore, it’s necessary to rethink about the global governance. In theory, there are five major dilemmas, namely, the hierarchical conflict of global governance objectives, the dilemma of global governance subject cooperation, the intertwining of the complexity and the frequency of global problems, the lack of the legitimacy and the representativeness of global governance mechanisms, and the lack of the comprehensive and systematic evaluation system of global governance. The dilemmas have led global governance to twists and turns. Only by overcoming them can the development of global governance be further promoted.
