The fundamental purpose of the Canadian government’s proposal of "knowledge mobilization" is to promote national economic growth and enhance national competitiveness through the social sciences and humanities research. The educational knowledge mobilization builds up multi-level and multi-directional networks between knowledge producers and users through knowledge intermediary organization, aiming to increase the value of educational theories and beyond. With the support of government, the knowledge mobilization in Canada helps to establish knowledge brokers and professional learning communities to strengthen the connection between educational researchers and teachers, and to promote the connection and transformation between educational theory and practice. This strategy was then considered as the best solution to bridges the gap between educational theory and practice.
