改革开放是我们党的一次伟大觉醒,正是这个伟大觉醒孕育了我们党从理论到实践的伟大创造。觉醒点之一是在坚持马克思主义指导地位的同时,破除对马克思主义教条式的理解,不断推动马克思主义理论创新,用发展了的马克思主义指导实践;觉醒点之二是搞社会主义建设,要深刻认识和把握社会主义初级阶段的基本国情,并立足国情实际,走出一条有中国特色的社会主义建设道路;觉醒点之三是社会主义是不断发展前进的,社会主义制度确立之后,还要通过革命性改革不断发展和完善;觉醒点之四是社会主义是开放的,不能关起门来搞建设,必须全面地、全方位地实行对外开放。

Reform and opening up is the great awakening of the CPC whih gave birth to the party’s great creation in terms of theory and practice. The awakening suggests adhering to the guidance of Marxism, eliminating Marxist dogmas, constantly promoting Marxist theoretical innovation, and guiding practice with renewed Marxism;it indicates engaging in socialist construction, deeply understanding and grasping the basic national conditions in the primary stage of socialism, and embarking on socialist construction with Chinese characteristics on the basis of the actual conditions of China;it also manifests that socialism is continually developing and advancing, and that socialism entails constant development and perfection through revolutionary reforms after the establishment of the socialist system;finally, it means that socialism is open rather than enclosed, and that we should open to the outside world in a omprehensive and all-round manner.
