The Historical and Cultural Values of Literary Regional Narration: Preliminary Study on the Narration of "San Yan" Stories in Fujian Province

明清话本、拟话本小说的地域叙事为我们从小说文本反观地域风尚提供了可能性。"三言"中有多篇文章涉及闽地叙事,内容涵盖政治事件、民间传说、海上贸易、风俗地貌等,具有丰富的历史与文化价值。"三言"的闽地叙事多叙离乱,对历史事件的叙述多用民间视角;对闽地原有民间故事的改写涉及海上贸易与倭患的历史图景;对民间传说的敷演与闽地风俗地貌相关,当中包含了丰富的历史、文化信息。为我们考察特定历史时期闽地政治、经济、文化与文学的互动关系提供了一个新的视角。

The regional narration of story-tellers scripts and simulating colloquial stories in Ming and Qing Dynasties provides the possibility for us to observe the regional customs from the stories. There are many articles related to the narration of Fujian Province, covering political events, folklore, maritime trade, customs and landforms, etc., which have rich historical and cultural values. The narration of "San Yan" stories in Fujian Province is mainly about separation and disorderand the narration of historical events is mainly from the folk perspective. The rewriting of the original folk tales in Fujian involves the maritime trade and the historical scene of the invasion by Japanese pirates off the coast of southern Fujian. The spreading of folklore is related to the folk customs and landforms of Fujian Province, which contains abundant historical and cultural information. All provide a new perspective for us to study the interaction between politics, economy, culture and literature in Fujian Province during a specific historical period.
