摘要
斩蟒英雄段赤城被洱海流域的白族人奉为海神,同时也是多个村寨的本主。"捞尸会"作为大理地区盛大的民间宗教活动,其主要目的便是为了纪念段赤城。段赤城信仰和"捞尸会"的历史嬗变以及呈现出的具体形式,包含了双重的表征:段赤城海神身份的建构虽然出于明清政府厘正祀典、教化百姓的需要,但是其在发展的过程中却逐渐延承了白族人以洱海为祖灵地的传统信仰,成为他们祖先崇拜的隐晦表达。
Duan Chicheng, the hero who killed pythons, is regarded as a sea god by Bai Nationality in the Erhai River Basin. He was also the deity of several villages." Laoshi hui", as a grand folk religious event in Dali, was in honor of Duan Chicheng. The historical changes and their specific forms of belief in Duan Chicheng and "laoshi hui" have a double representation: although the identity construction of Duan Chicheng as a sea god was based on the unified sacrificial rules of Ming and Qing governments and the teaching of the people, it has gradually inherited the traditional belief of the Bai Nationality with Erhai Lake as their ancestral place in its development, and has become the obscure expression of their ancestor worship.
