Lu You’s leisure philosophy is profound and comprehensive. In his description about "leisure", we can often feel his understanding, comprehension and speculation on the Essence(nature) of leisure. In sum, they are: the close relationship between leisure and mental/physical freedom and mentality of peace;the private nature of leisure;leisure as the state of the universe. All of these have positive significance for contemporary people to fully understand the essence of leisure.
