Ability to do Mass Work Being the Core of Community Police's Post Competency

群众路线是公安工作的生命线,群众工作能力是所有基层民警的基本功。社区民警要履行好岗位职责,完成好工作任务,就要具备相应的岗位能力,这些岗位能力的基础,就是群众工作能力。提升社区民警的群众工作能力,必须首先树立群众观念,掌握群众工作基本方法,切实做到密切联系群众,注重宣传教育群众,动员组织群众,才能真正实现公安工作立警为公、执法为民的宗旨。

The mass line is the lifeline of public security work, and the ability to do mass work is a basic skill of all grass-roots police. In order to fulfill the duties and complete the tasks, the community police are required to possess the post competency with the mass work ability at the core position. In order to improve the ability to do mass work, the community police must have the mass viewpoint, master the basic methods of mass work, maintain close ties with the mass, and pay attention to publicizing to, educating, mobilizing, and organizing the mass. Only in this way, can they achieve the goal of public security work, namely, impartially enforcing law and serving the people.
