On Competency-based Teaching of Civil Law in Public Security Colleges and Universities

人民警察履行职责的能力要求决定公安教育应当把民法教学置于重要地位。公安院校的民法教学需要遵循能力本位理念,以培养和提高警察职业能力为教学原点,选取日常工作与社会生活紧密联接的民法内容,采用与时俱进的教学与训练方法,构建有效提高警察职业能力的教学体系,达到民法教学与警务需求的高度对接。

Due to the requirements for police’s competencies in duty performance, the teaching of civil law must be placed in an important place in the police’s education and training. In order to achieve a high-degree connection between the teaching of civil law and the policing demands, the teaching of civil law in public security colleges and universities should follow the competency-based principle, focus on the cultivation and improvement of the police’s professional abilities, select the contents closely linked to daily work and social life, adopt the teaching and training methods that keep pace with the times, and construct a teaching system that can effectively improves the police’s professional abilities.
