Objective To evaluate the application value of painless puncture technique in intravenous infusion for7-12 year old children. Methods A total of 130 intravenous infusion cases in our hospital were selected as the research objects from December 2016 to December 2017, and they were randomly divided into a controlgroup with routine puncture technique and an experimental group with the painless puncture technique(65 cases of each group). The success rate of puncture, pain status, degree of cooperation of children, and satisfaction degree of family members to nursing were investigated and compared between the two groups. Results In the control group, the success rate of one time puncture, the incidence of painless, the rate of cooperation, and the satisfaction to nursing were 84.61%, 69.23%, 76.92%, and 84.61% respectively;in the experimental group, the success rate of one time puncture, the incidence of painless, the rate of cooperation, and the satisfaction to nursing were 95.38%, 92.30%,98.46%, and 98.46% respectively, and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P< 0.05). Conclusion The painless puncture technology in children’s intravenous infusion can not only improve the success rate and cooperation rate of a single puncture but also reduce or eliminate the pain and enhance the quality of nursing. Therefore, it is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
