Development of Chinese Fiber Art in the Past 20 Years

自1999年发起,2000年首展至今,"从洛桑到北京"国际纤维艺术双年展既学术研讨会在中国已成功举办十届,历时20年。本文旨在通过对中国纤维艺术近20年的发展,梳理出中国纤维艺术从概念的提出到今天更为完善的艺术教育模式的建立,以及多元化的纤维艺术表现形式,引导人们静心思考纤维艺术对于当代中国乃至人类文明发展的意义。

In retrospect to the development course of Chinese fiber art in the past 20 years, this paper aims to clarify Chinese fiber art in terms of introduction of such concept, the establishment of the current well-established art education mode and the diversified expressive forms of fiber art, and help people meditate on great significance of fiber art for the development of contemporary China and even human civilization.
