Resident in Entrepreneur Project: Initiatives for Entrepreneurship Education in American Universities

各国高校创业教育师资队伍面临数量不足、结构失衡的问题,极大地制约了创业教育的发展。美国高校在创业教育师资队伍建设方面做了许多努力,创建高校驻场企业家项目就是其中之一。该项目能有效缓解创业师资短缺问题,优化创业师资队伍结构,提高创业指导的针对性和质量。借鉴美国高校驻场企业家项目,能够为我国利用高校驻场企业家开展创业教育提供参考。

The faculty of entrepreneurship education in universities around the world has been facing problems of insufficient quantity and unbalanced structure, which has greatly restricted the development of entrepreneurship education. American colleges and universities have made a lot of efforts in building the teaching staff of entrepreneurship education. One of them is to create Resident in Entrepreneur Project. The project can effectively alleviate the shortage of entrepreneurial teachers, optimize the structure of entrepreneurial teachers, and improve the pertinence and quality of entrepreneurial guidance. On the basis of introducing the connotation of Resident in Entrepreneur Project, this paper analyzes the application of Resident in Entrepreneur Project in higher education system. Taking the United States as an example, this paper studies the specific operation of Resident in Entrepreneur Project in American universities and provides suggestions for Chinese universities to carry out Resident in Entrepreneur Project.
