摘要
Tashi Lhunpo, founded in 1447, is the second largest Buddhist monastery in the Tibet Autonomous Region and a religious and cultural feast for the eyes and the senses. The brilliant colors of the giant complex are dominated by red and gold. Tashi Lhunpo Monastery is the traditional seat of the Panchen Lama. The picture taken from the Great Courtyard of the Kelsang Temple inside the compound shows some of the many temple floors and walls covered in thousands of images of Sakyamuni Buddha in different postures and expressions.
