罗汉果为葫芦科多年生宿根性藤本植物罗汉果的果实,也是中国特有的地道药材和甜味植物。被列入国家发展重点项目后,对其研究日渐增多,在各种医疗领域的应用功能也渐渐被开发出来,在镇咳祛痰、糖尿病治疗、免疫调节作用、抗肿瘤作用、抗菌抗疲劳等的研究逐渐深入。罗汉果作为广西特色经济作物,在医疗方面具有很大的潜力,特别是在肿瘤和糖尿病的治疗中,能提供一定的治疗作用。

The fruit of a perennial vine of the Cucurbitaceae family,Momordica Grosvenori,which is also a unique Chinese herbal medicine and sweet plant.After being included in the national development key project,the research on it is increasing day by day,and the application function in various medical fields has been gradually developed.The research gradually deepening on function of it's antitussive and eliminating phlegm,diabetes treatment,immunomodulation,anti-tumor,antibacterial and anti-fatigue,etc.As a special cash crop in Guangxi,Luohanguo has great potential in medical treatment,especially in the treatment of cancer and diabetes,can provide a certain therapeutic effect.
