摘要
英国当代女性导演逐渐崛起,其叙事风格和题材舍取也较为明显:既与英国男性导演在风格和题材处理上具有一种同根性,又具有身为英国女性导演的差异性和特质。本文梳理了这个群体文本内部的四种较为鲜明的格式塔:对遗产电影改编和挪用的格式塔、向成名作致敬和互文的叙事格式塔,以及有利于女性视角展现的主题:性别、肤色、种族格式塔和面向全球化视野的格式塔。四种格式塔,如同四个面相、四个多棱镜的侧面,共同组成了英国女性导演真实性格的一部分。
There witnesses a rise of contemporary British female directors with distinct narrative styles and subjects who share homological roots with the male directors while they acquire their peculiar traits. This paper classifies four distinctive narrative gestalts within British female directors, that is, the gestalt of adapting and borrowing, the gestalt of paying a tribute to masterpieces with intertextuality, the gestalt of revealing subjects such as gender, color and race that are favorable for female perspective and the gestalt oriented for global vision. These four gestalts are like four dimensions and four sides of a prism to constitute the true characters of British female directors.
