小题材绘画是相对于视野宏观、尺寸较大、思想性强、内容复杂的大题材绘画而言的,在中西美术史上,这类小题材绘画别具一格,在意境、造型和技法方面均有其独特的艺术魅力。
Small-subject paintings are relative to the large-subject ones with macro-vision, large size, strong ideology and complex contents. In the history of Chinese and Western fine arts, this genre is distinct for its peculiar artistic traits in artistic conception, form and technique.
