Feimo copper deposit is located in the middle part of Ailaoshan copper polymetallic metallogenic belt in Tethys metallogenic domain, in the middle part of Ailaoshan mid-deep metamorphic rock belt, on the east side of Himalayan Dapijia granite body, and belongs to the high-grade metamorphic rock area of Ailaoshan basement nappe. The fold structures in this area are mainly Yuanyang anticline and its secondary fold structures. Fault structure (F1) is the main fault structure in this area, which is distributed in NNE direction. Feldspathic dike magmatic rocks are widely developed in this area, mainly including Yanshanian and Himalayan granite dikes and pegmatite dikes. The Feimo section of the Proterozoic Ailaoshan Group is the main occurrence site of the Feimo copper deposit. The main lithological characteristics of the ore body are the grey diopside marble of biotite schist with light grey biotite plagioclase granulite. The ore bodies are lenticular, lenticular and layered. Stratigraphic lithology plays an obvious role in controlling the deposit. Structural and hydrothermal reformation in later stage promoted the further enrichment of the deposit. The source of Feimo copper deposit is not only multi-source, but also multi-stage and multi-stage. Based on the analysis of the geological characteristics of the deposit, the prospecting prospect of the deposit is discussed in order to provide a useful reference for the prospecting of the same type of deposit in this area.
