In this study, we expound the importance of hydrogeology in the process of mine engineering geological exploration, which is an important work content in the preliminary geological exploration of engineering projects and can provide important reference for the collection of engineering design data. In this paper, the contents and evaluation methods of geological exploration are analyzed, and the geological exploration work is discussed in combination with practical cases.
