The Investigation for the Archives of Capital Appeal in Late Qing Dynasty

京控档案,作为清代遗留下来的各省督抚审理官民"京控"案件的原始司法文书,数量众多且保存完整。清代中期以来人口膨胀、利益分化,以及京控制度的完善,为该类档案形成奠定基础。以文书学视角考察,该类档案事由凸显社会矛盾焦点,档案整体具有基层性、具体性、真实性、系统性诸特点,其将为区域历史研究提供丰富一手史料,并将推动清代司法研究不断深入。

The archives of capital appeal belong to the documents based on the civil governors of Qing dynasty to trail capital appeals. A thorough investigation of these documents can not only get first-hand information, but also provide the precious historical literature which is not available on the other documents. Making full use of these archives can correct the previous studies of some views and promote the study of Qing’s judicial files.
