摘要
以I Have a Dream的节选文及其名家汉译、学习者译文为语料,以系统语法的概念功能体系为研究框架,在探讨节选原文和名家译文如何实现概念功能最大程度一致的基础上,通过对比学习者译文与名家译文,分析学习者译文在再现原文概念功能上的得失,检验了功能语言学在翻译教学中的广泛应用性和可操作性。
This paper, based on a corpus of the extracted (ST) I Have a Dream , its authoritative Chinese translation(TT) and the 80 English majors’ translated texts, draws on the ideational function theory and explores how translation equivalence in ideational function between TT and ST is achieved. Then by comparing the translation of learners and that of the authority, the paper further investigates the merits of learners translation from the perspective of ideational function. Thus the applicability of systemic functional linguistics to translation teaching is well verified.
