The research on the emission and detection of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in automobiles has become the focus of social attention. Before the VOC test of the whole vehicle, the status confirmation of test vehicles has an important influence on the accuracy of the test results. The influence of different elements on the test results is deconstructed, and 10 schemes of vehicle condition inspection for VOC test are summarized with cases. The schemes can make the test results more scientific and accurate, provide testing suggestions for technicians, and has important practical significance for controlling VOC of the whole vehicle for the automotive OEMs.
