摘要
中国高等教育不断改革、迅猛发展之时,就是其内外部关系中各种矛盾冲突充分显露之日,亦是其生存与发展的方向容易迷失、历史方位亟待厘清之际。中国高等教育的历史方位,可以从时间、空间及文化三个维度进行综合分析。具体来说,自1895年以来,中国近现代高等教育的历史方位发生持续、快速甚至断裂式变迁,就其总体趋势而言,在时间维度从古今冲突转向古今会通,在空间维度从中西冲突转向共建人类命运共同体,在文化维度从文化冲突转向文明融合。中国高等教育历史方位的变迁动力日益依赖内外部诸种力量的合力,历史方位的定位方式应当且已经逐渐从依附走向自主。
With the constant reform and rapid development,the internal and external relations of China higher education had experienced various contradictions and conflicts,which made its direction lost.The historical orientation of China higher education could be comprehensively analyzed from three dimensions of time,space and culture.Specifically,the historical orientation of China modern higher education had been being changed in sustained,rapid and even broken style since 1895.In terms of its overall trend,from the dimension of time,it had shifted from ancient-modern conflicts to ancientmodem fusion;from the dimension of space,it had shifted from Chinese-Western conflicts to building a community of human destiny;from the dimension of culture,it had shifted from cultural conflicts to civilization integration.The dynamics of the historical orientation change of China higher education were increasingly dependent on the combination of internal and external forces;the position style of historical orientation should gradually move from dependency to autonomy.
