On the Ethical Dimension in Xi Jinping’s Important Address on International Communications

受某种学术现象一定程度的影响,截至目前,我国学界对习近平总书记对外传播论述中的伦理维度的关注和研究相当稀少。依据习近平总书记对外传播论述的在场,习近平伦理观的在场,习近平总书记对外传播论述与其伦理观有机结合的理论事实,习近平总书记对外传播论述的伦理蕴涵呈现出:“两条红线”,一是爱——对祖国、对人民、对国家、对民族、对世界深沉的大爱,二是以人民为中心——以中国人民和世界人民的根本利益为中心;“三真”,即真实、真诚、真爱;“五义”,即平等之义、和合之义、诚信之义、互尊之义、共荣之义。进一步深刻理解把握习近平总书记对外传播论述的伦理之维,消解外界对中国的刻板印象,巩固对外传播话语权,让世界人民因中国声音、中国故事、中国特色所传达的具有全人类共同价值的良善德性而感动,极具现实意义和长远意义。

In the past, some researchers did not spend enough effort to research the ethical dimension in Xi Jinping's important address on international communications. This article tries to open up a new perspective on this important question. First, it tries to confirm that in Xi Jinping 's rich and varied discussion about international communications, there is an ethical dimension. Second, it tries to confirm that there are two red lines in the ethical dimension of Xi's address, one is the love to the motherland, to Chinese people, to state, to nation, and to the whole world, the other is committing to a people-centred approach, that is, taking the fundamental interests of the Chinese people of all ethnic groups and the people of all countries in the world as the highest interests. Third, it tries to show that there are three true feelings in the ethical dimension of Xi's address, including real results, good faith, and sincerity. Fourth, it tries to show that there are five principles in the ethical dimension in Xi's address, including equality, harmony, faith, mutual respect, and common prosperity. It is important understand the ethical dimension of Xi's address, for it can tell Chinese stories well, can present a true multi-dimensional and panoramic view of China, and can enhance our country's soft power of morality.
