On Dragon Image and Its Cultural Connotation in Tang Poetry

与前代文学相比,唐诗中的龙意象出现次数较多,具有非写实性和灵异性。唐诗中龙意象的文化内涵较为丰富,不仅是皇权的代表,儒者的典范,也是祥瑞文化的缩影。唐诗中的龙意象具有鲜明的时代特色,在彰显诗人人格魅力的同时,也凸显盛唐气象的宏大,是唐代社会的符号代表。

Compared with the literature of the previous dynasties,the image of“dragon”in the poetry of the Tang Dynasty,which was non-realistic and spiritual,appeared more frequently. Its cultural connotation is very rich. It is not only the representative of imperial power and the model of Confucianism,but also the epitome of auspicious culture. With the distinct features of its times,the image of“dragon”in the Tang poetry prominently manifests the poets’personality charm and highlights the magnificence of“prosperity of the Tang Dynasty”. It is the symbolic representative of Tang society.
