Experience of families caring for COPD patients at home: a Meta-integration

目的:Meta整合COPD患者家属的居家照顾体验。方法:检索The Cochrane Library、PubMed、Embase、Web of Science、CINAHL、中国生物医学文献数据库(CBM)、中国知网(CNKI)、维普数据库(VIP)和万方数据库(WanFangData),纳入所有符合要求的质性研究,采用Meta整合方法对结果进行整合。结果:共纳入15篇文献,合成2个整合结果。整合结果 1:家属在照护过程中压力和负担沉重,给患者和家属带来消极影响,但随时间推移,照顾自信心和责任感增强,能够积极应对和投入。整合结果 2:家属疾病知识和照护经验不足,希望得到社会的支持与帮助。结论:家属对COPD患者起着至关重要的作用,因此在关注患者和疾病的同时,也要关注其家庭照顾者,通过为其提供积极健康的指导,使家属成为患者治疗康复中重要的支持力量。

Objective: To describe and analyze the home-care experience of COPD patients' family members through Meta-integration. Methods: Databases such as The Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMbase, Web of Science, CINAHL, CBM, CNKI, VIP and WanFang were retrieved and all qualified qualitative studies were included. Meta integration was used to analyze and integrate the data achieved. Results: A total of 15 articles were included and 2 main points were obtained. On the one hand, though under heavy pressure and burden in the process of care, the family members with their confidence and sense of responsibility for care increasing were able to actively cope with and invest in the care as time went by. On the other hand, those caregivers were in pressing need of social support and help due to a lack of knowledge and care experience. Conclusion: Family caregivers play a crucial role in the care of COPD patients. Therefore, more attention should be attached to the family caregivers of COPD patients while focusing on the patients and the disease itself so as to provide better and positive health guidance for patients and make them an important part of the patients' medical care team.
