Michael Ende focuses on creating a multipolar world full of intersubjectivity in The Neverending Story to stress the balanced relationships between man and creatures or between humans, and rich and profound theme can be found. In the story, the two images, Atreyu and Bastian, are from different worlds, and meet in the kingdom of fantasy and the interpenetrating of the subjectivities forms. The intersubjective relationships and the positions between ego and superego show the hard process of the establishing for the adolescent subjectivities.
