As a unique symbol in traditional Chinese culture,Su Shi set a good example for later generations,whose optimistic personality and tough attitudes towards life are still chased after by people.As an official,Su Shi has the spirit of benevolence towards people,who not only treated them kindly but even had great sympathy towards plants and animals.Su had thrown himself into participating actively to live his people better lives.He also pursued inner freedom in any case,who gave first priority to self-fulfillment and reached a very high state.Through analyzing the personality of Su Shi,this essay will put forward some views which will be significant for the building of ecological personality of modern people.
