Introduction Occasionally a clinical dilemma occurs when two patients with a myocardial infarction associated with ST segment elevation on the electrocardiogram,arrive in the emergency department at the same time.Since most cardiologists would consider that these patients have an occlusion of an epicardial coronary,and should undergo an immediate revascularization,a decision must be made as to who should go to the catheterization laboratory fi rst.
